Saturday 4/3

Saturday 4/3

Today I woke up early, around 5:30ish. We chilled until about ten doing homework, reading, blogging, and eating. Then, I took a better picture to show how small cokes are here.
Small Coke!
We then left to go explore our neighborhood as a family. My mom and I show everything we found, then after we went to go have lunch at Yoshinoya, a Japanese fast food restaurant.
Small but good.

I got option C and gave the shrimp to my dad. It was GREAT!

Thats the logo of Yoshinoya.
Then we went to the subway and took the JR Yamanote Line to Harajuku and walked to Meiji Jingu, which is such a cool shrine. On the way and in the shrine I took lots of photos and there are below.

Thats one TALL gate.

Another picture with Tori Gate.

Tori Gate, again.

Some lantern like thing that looks cool.

Look at how they line up those rocks!

Bamboo fence.

The Tori Gate.

Some cool tree.

THE LAVATORY
Entrance to Meiji Jingu Shrine, with the Tori Gate in the background.

Another cool tree.

This Reminds me of My Neighbor Totoro.
These are Ema.

Here is an explanation of what Emas are.

Here is the entrance to Meiji Shrine
While there we saw a rare sight. We saw a wedding ceremony. Its really rare in Meiji-Jingu Shrine because it is such a big shrine.

Then after we went to Meiji-Jingu we walked through Yoyogi Park, then to where my parents used to live when I was a child, and to my sister's shrine.
Mmm... Stewed intestine!

What a great tree.

The birds of the park.

My dad took these.

Look at the line for the bathroom!

But wait, THERES MORE!

What a cool delivery cycle.

The top floor was my appartment.

Why does she chew gum?

What beautiful stonery.

Most all of the cars on the street are like this, Toyota Crowns (very nice cars), Audi, Porche, BMW, or Jaguar in Meguro, Tokyo, Japan.

Japanese spelling of "Freshest burger" I think.

Very delicious unagi (eel) shop.
Then we went home and chilled for the rest of the day and had homemade rice, chicken, and broccoli.
